Camping

I am attending the festival, but I do not want to camp!

This is not a problem! Camping tickets are seperate to festival tickets.

Is the camp near the festival?

Yes! The campsite is close by, less than a 5 minute walk.

Can I reserve a campspot with my friends?

Please note that campsites are first-come, first-served and cannot be reserved, so we recommend arriving with your friends (convoy) if you’d like to camp together.

Can I bring a gazebo?

Only if it fits within your allocated campsite size.

Camping Prohibited Items

*These are subject to change and you must check back before the Event*

  • Alcohol
  • Unsealed drink containers (open ALL sealed plastic containers and conduct a “smell test”. Note that cans do not need to be opened).
  • Yoghurt or fruit foil pouches (open ALL pouches and conduct a “smell test”).
  • Cooking equipment / BBQs / gas stoves / flares / sparklers (anything flammable).
  • Glass containers/bottles (small perfume and deodorant bottles accepted).
  • Animals (excluding guide dogs).
  • Weapons
  • Illegal items, including drugs.
  • Professional photography, video equipment and tape recorders are not allowed without a Photo Pass (i.e. any lens over 20cm, any detachable lens, camera stands etc. Go-pros are OK).
  • Personal speakers (UE Booms / Bose etc.)
  • Outlaw motorcycle gang clothing bearing patches, colours and insignias.
  • Spray paint / aerosol paints.
  • Drums (bongo, djembe, etc).
Are toilets & showers available for all campers?

Yes of course! Glampers will have access to their own VIP toilets and showers, all other campers will use the communal facilities near Camperland.

Am I allowed to drive my car into town?

If you are in BYO camping next to your car, you are not permitted to drive your car out of the campsite until the event is over. If you have a car in the camp car park then yes you can leave but you are not guaranteed a parking spot when you return. 

Are food and drinks available in Camperland?

Absolutely! We will operate a 24 hour food and drink service as well as our camp shop to ensure you are able to stock up whenever you need. We will publish a list of food vendors prior to the event.

Can I bring a water bottle?

Yes! We encourage you to, we will have water refill stations. Note – when you check-in this must be empty unless it is a sealed water bottle. 

Is drinking alcohol allowed in the camping area? Can I BYO?

We have a strict policy on alcohol and it is not permitted in the camping area, your car will be thoroughly searched upon entry to ensure you do not breach this condition of entry. Alcohol will be confiscated if you are found with it and you are at risk of being ejected from the Event.

Are the sites powered?

Glamping and RV campsites are powered, everything else is unpowered! You will be able to recharge at the recharge hub in Camperland, we recommend you bring a portable power bank and a torch! 

Can I bring in food if I am camping?

You are welcome to bring your own food but note there are no facilities permitted to heat any food, we recommend an Esky with some ice bricks for a few days! We have a strict no BBQ / Gas policy due to total fire bans at that time of year.

Are there food options?

There will be a wide range of food options for all dietary requirements at the festival.

Licenced Venue

You & Me is a licensed 18+ Festival with a range of alcoholic, light and non-alcoholic beverage options to choose from, available from our many bars across the site.

Does my camping ticket include festival entry?

No! Festival Passes, Accomodation & Transport are all seperate ticket options. However, all camping tickets do include entry into our Opening Party on December 29th for campers only!

Are there Passouts?

There are no Passouts at You & Me.

Can I bring my medication?

Medication must be accompanied by original packing or script with said persons name.

Is You & Me wheelchair accessible?

Yes it is! We have provisions in place to best accommodate for people with disabilities, but so we can best meet your needs please email Info@youandmefest.com
with any special requirements you may have or for further information.

Do you accept companion cards?

Yes we do! Please email info@youandmefest.com.

Can I refund my ticket?

This event has a no refund policy. Can’t make the event? Use Tixel to resell your ticket!

Is You & Me a sustainable festival?

We are doing our best to be as sustainable as we can. All cans will be recycled with the CDS government scheme, there is no single use plastics on the event site, all food vendors adhere to compostable packaging and our team are encouraged to bring their own water bottles. These are just a few of the elements to our sustainability plan.

Is there somewhere to charge my phone at the festival?

Yes, there will be portable charging stations.

Can I bring a portable speaker?

Portable speakers are not allowed at You & Me.

Can I pay cash at the festival?

You & Me is a cashless festival.

Can I work at the festival?

Absolutely, we have a range of roles – Camping Staff, Bar Staff, Event Staff & More. Please send any enquiries to info@youandmefest.com.

Are there medics onsite?

Yes, we have a highly experienced medical team onsite in the medical tent and roaming around the festival. Should you need urgent assistance, look for a staff member or security guard who can guide you there.

Is there a dresscode?

No, you can wear whatever you desire.

Does You & Me offer payment plans?

Yes, we have payment plans setup through our ticketing platform.

Can I upgrade my ticket on the day?

GA tickets can be upgraded to VIP on the day unless sold out prior.

Can I bring filming equipment?

No! Please see our Conditions of Entry.

What ID is required?

You & Me will only accept valid current forms of identification under Western Australian Law. These include Australian Drivers License, Passport & West Australian Proof of Age Card.

Will there be Lost Property?

Yes, we will have lost property on site.

Volunteering! Can I do a shift in exchange for a ticket?

Yes! Please email Info@youandmefest.com to be placed on our volunteer database and we’ll ensure to send you information when we are recruiting!

Are Doof Sticks allowed?

Yes they are! Please just ensure they are NOT discriminative.

Purchased a bus ticket and need more info?

An email will be sent out prior to the event with all you need to know, if you still have queries please email info@youandmefest.com.

Can I camp with a car rooftop tent in the Car Parking area?
Unfortunately not! Camperland is in a separate location to our Car Parking Area & a Car Parking pass is to park your vehicle only.

Terms & Conditions

General

List of Forbidden Items

**This is subject to be updated prior to the event** 

Banned Items:

  • Alcohol
  • Illegal substances.
  • Weapons
  • Glass items (including perfume bottles).
  • Glass makeup containers (non-glass containers are allowed).
  • Video/audio recording devices (GoPros, selfie sticks, drones).
  • Professional still cameras (pocket-sized cameras are allowed).
  • Animals (except service or assistance animals).
  • Promotional materials (e.g., flags).
  • Vapes & E-cigs over 110ml.
  • Umbrellas (use plastic ponchos or raincoats instead).
  • Any items deemed dangerous by security or event staff.
Ticket Name Change
Name changes can be done via our Tixel, our official resale partner. Tixel provides a safe and easy place for you to sell your ticket to another fan. To sell your ticket, visit Tixel’s website and follow the prompts. If you have already found a buyer for your ticket, but want to complete the transaction safely, you can create a private sale by selecting the ‘make my listing private’ option at the final step.

Terms

Bus Conditions of Travel

1. Respect the bus driver and the community as you board on and off.
2. The bus driver reserves the right to refuse boarding of the bus including intoxicated passengers.
3. Alcohol may not be consumed on the bus.
4. Dispose of your rubbish in an appropriate fashion.

Conditions of Entry

Patrons must be over 18 and show valid photo ID to enter the Festival.
Acceptable IDs include:
– Passport
– Australian Photo Driver’s License
– WA Proof of Age card
Security may request additional ID verification.

Photography & Filming Consent:
– All patrons consent to being included in official photography, filming, and recordings.
– These may be used by the organizer for promotional purposes worldwide, in perpetuity.

Admission Refusal/Eviction:
Security may refuse or evict patrons who are affected by alcohol or drugs, or in violation of any terms and conditions.
– No alcohol may be brought into the venue.
– Confiscated alcohol will not be returned, and further action may be taken.

Animals:
– Animals are prohibited, except for service or assistance animals (e.g., guide dogs).

Refusal of Entry:
Security reserves the right to refuse entry to patrons who:
– Are under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or stimulants.
– Have previously been banned from events.
– Intend to disturb public peace or provoke aggression.
– Refuse to declare dangerous objects to security.
– Are wearing high-visibility vests, gang-related clothing, or uniforms impersonating event staff, police, or emergency services.
– Interfere with other patrons enjoyment of the event
– Threaten the safety of performers, patrons, or property.
– Are intoxicated or disorderly.
– Make unauthorised recordings of the event.
– Refuse to provide photo ID as proof of age.
– Refuse physical or possession searches by security.
– Attempt to bring in prohibited items.
– Fail to comply with these conditions or organiser instructions.

Refund Policy

– No refunds except in accordance with consumer law.
– No refunds in the case of lineup changes.
– Refund protection is also available.
– If you cannot attend the event, you can resell your tickets or action a name change at no additional cost via our official resale partner, Tixel. Tixel has an early pay-out option so fans can receive their refund prior to the event. 

Privacy Policy

We care about your privacy. Among other rights, you can chose whether you recieve marketing information from us. You also have the right to access the information we have about you. If you have any questions regarding our privacy policy, please do not hesitate to reach out to us.

Refusals

You & Me festival reserves the right to refuse entry to a licensed premises or service inside the licensed premise based on patrons appearing to be drunk, behaving in an offensive manner, or if the patron does not comply with ID requirements.
